The claim by Etteh Donald Duke that he didn’t cede Bakassi, is simply a
specious fallacy because, the scarcity of evidence in his denial does deflate his elaborate lies.
Thus, his seemingly equanimity of Pontius Pilate vis-a- vis the signing of
the infamous Green Tree Agreement by his mentor, the Chief (OBJ) with the
Bantu Despot of Cameroon,Monsieur Paul Biya did make him an accomplice
After all Etteh Donald Duke was so much beholden to the Chief (OBJ) then .
Isn’t it quite possible that the Chief might have cooped, seduced, suckered or
rather tricked the then Governor of Cross River State,Donald Duke into
acquiescing to that evil and wicked act against our people of Bakassi?
By the way,who are those Nigerian owners of South Atlantic Petroleum Company, currently sharing the proceeds of Bakassi gas and oil with Paul
Biya of Cameroon?
Where was Etteh Donald Duke when patriotic and well-meaning Nigerians rose up and pressured President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to appeal that ICJ Decision that ceded Bakassi to Cameroon before its expiry?
But the owners of South Atlantic Petroleum Co. scuttled the attempt made by
President Jonathan,by colluding with the then Attorney General and Minister of Justice ,Mallm Mohammed Bello Adoke, who suddenly went on leave and retrurned after the expiration date for the appeal had passed.
Our over half a million people of Bakassi are landless, stateless and are denied their inalienable right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness like Donald Duke,
Senator Florence Ita-Giwa,alias- Mama Bakassi et al.
That old bitch ( Mama Bakassi) ,has now taken refuge in Buhari’s APC Party after she came under fire over her misappropriation (stealing) of funds meant for the people of Bakassi.
All over Calabar City and beyond, Bakassi children are reported to be living in
refuse dumps or going about begging like Hausa/Fulani Almajiris of the North.
It is indeed a painful and a wicked paradox that our most maligned former Military Head of State, the late Gen. Sani Abacha would liberate Bakassi from Cameroon only for the Chief (OBJ) his cahoot, cohorts and cronies to cede
Bakassi back to Cameroon.
Just before his demise,President Abacha was about declaring Bakassi a State.
Oh dear! What a crying shame !
The ceding of Bakassi to Cameroon was a henious act of betrayal and that will indeed forever remain a blot on the escutcheon of man.
