From Timothy Olanrewaju, Yola

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, said he has delivered on all the promises he made to the people of the state three years ago through his 11-Point agenda.

Fintiri while addressing party members and supporters ahead of the launch of the 2023 People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential and governorship campaigns in Yola, asked the people to score his performance with the 11-points agenda.

“Adamawa State have every reason to ask us the question of whether or not the boxes of each item on the 11-Point Agenda can be ticked as positive.”

He said his administration has reclaimed the trust and good will in government, which he claimed, was wasted by his predecessors. He said the trust gained had reduced tension among ethnic communities and identity groupings. He listed other imprints of his government in health, human development and infrastructure.

He said the state created created a security operation; Operation Farauta and procured 60 Toyota Hilux trucks and 50 motorcycles to boost security in the state hitherto threatened by Boko Haram.

“We hosted a security summit and redesigned the Security architecture of the State to accommodate local intelligence and incorporated vigilantes and local hunters in the frontlines.” He said his administration successfully worked to ensure the former Federal University of Technology Yola, transformed into a conventional varsity, training Nigerians in all human endeavour including medicine and Law.

He urged the people to support his re-election in 2023 to ensure  improvement in all the sectors.
